Each month the Plum Market Kitchen features tasty flavors that resonate with the season – some new, some traditional – all available for a limited time. We’ve decided to take one of our favorite Limited Time Only Flavor recipes and share it with our loyal guests, so that you can create Plum Market Chef inspired dishes in your own home. As much as we love creating mouthwatering meals for you, we also know how much fun it can be recreating dishes on your own, and that a lot of you love the kitchen just as much as we do! Lemon Tahini Brocolini

broccolini with sweet tahini dressing - salt sugar and iYield: 1 Serving 

1/2 lb Broccolini
1 1/2 tbsp. Olive Oil
1/8 C Tahini
1 tsp. Lemon Zest
1 tbsp. Lemon Juice
3/4 tsp. salt
Dash of Hot Sauce
3/4 tbsp. Sunflower Seeds
1 1/2 tbsp. White Sesame Seeds


Blanch and shock the broccolini before serving by placing in a pot of boiling water, once you have established that the vegetables are cooked, quickly remove them from the boiling water and plunge them into the ice bath (this act is called “shocking”). In a small bowl whisk together the Tahini, Lemon Zest, Lemon Juice, Salt, and hot sauce and set aside. Next, line up the broccolini so it’s all facing the same direction, then drizzle the Tahini, Lemon dressing over it. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and the sunflower seeds, serve and enjoy!
