• Local Public & Private Schools & Colleges
• Friendship Circle
• Karmanos Cancer Institute
• Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center
• Children's Leukemia Foundation
• Cranbrook House
• Variety—the Children's Charity
• Henry Ford Hospital
• Children's Charities Coalition
• Strike A Chord (Spencer Bell Memorial)
• Washtenaw Area Council for Children
• Bo Schembechler's Heart of a Champion
• Birmingham Community House
• Urban Farming
• The Ann Arbor Cooperative Nursery
• American Business Women's Association
• Wild Swan Theater
• Michigan Theater

Our partners for food re-distribution are Forgotten Harvest in Oakland County and Food Gatherers in Ann Arbor.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT MATTERS TO US
Supporting the communities where we work and live is a key part of our mission at Plum Market. The most common way in which we show that support is by donating Plum Cards or Gift Baskets for special events.

A profound commitment to the community is simply part of who we are at Plum Market. However, due the volume of requests that we receive, we cannot grant every request. So that we may support the community as fully as we can, each approved organization will be limited to one donation per calendar year. Past support is not a guarantee of future support.

PLUM MARKET EDUCATIONAL SCRIP PROGRAM

The easiest way to raise money for schools.

Here’s how it works:

  • A designated representative of the school or educational organization completes the application.

  • Once enrolled, parents, friends and other supporters of your organization must link their Scrip Organization to their Plum Market Rewards Cards to raise money for their schools. Download the Scrip-Rewards Link form here, or visit the guest relations counter for details.

  • Once a month, Plum Market will send your organization a check for 5% of the total balance accumulated by those qualifying purchases. For example, if your school accounts for $5000 in qualifying purchases, we’ll send the school a check for $250.

  • Scrip program participation will be based on a $1500 quarterly minimum, and will be reviewed quarterly for eligibility.

  • Re-enrollment opportunities may be available for your organization 1 year from prior enrollment end date.

  • Reimbursement checks must accumulate a minimum balance of $25 prior to issue. If your organization does not meet this requirement, your balance will be applied to the following month’s statement.

Get started!
If you would like your school to participate, just complete the form and email it or send it to us at:

Plum Market Corporation
Community Involvement Board
30777 Northwestern Hwy., Suite 301
Farmington Hills, MI 48334

A couple of things to keep in mind:

  • Please allow 7 – 10 days from the time the application is submitted for us to get your organization set up in our system. The designated representative of the organization will be notified electronically when your organization is fully enrolled.

  • You must have a Plum Market Rewards to participate in our Scrip Program.

  • It is the participant's responsibility to present their Rewards Card to the cashier at the checkout to receive credit for their purchases.

Plum Market reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without notice, to amend or cancel the scrip program at any time and for any reason.
