The multi-vintage Moët Brut and Clicquot “Yellow Label” are ubiquitous and widely appreciated, but the vintage wines of these two famous houses are rarely experienced. This is where truly fine Champagne quality begins. Vintage wines, made exclusively from one year’s exceptional harvest and only few times per decade, are held much longer on the lees prior to release, contributing a deeper, more complex flavor with intriguing toasty and pastry crust tones. Champagne Specialist and Plum alum, Rebecca Kelly will guide us through the house styles of these very special wines. We’ll taste 2008 Moët, 1992 Moët ‘Collection’, 2008 Moët Brut Rosé, 2008 Veuve Clicquot, 2008 Veuve Clicquot Rosé, and 1990 Veuve Clicquot ‘Cave Privée’ Rosé. You can look forward to delicious Champagne friendly bites in addition to our Plum pizzas, cheese and charcuterie.
