Site Criteria: We hand-select every store location to ensure it meets our criteria for success. It is difficult for us to track every existing and up-and-coming location, which is where you can help. So, what are we looking for? The answer: Location, Location, Location… the three most important words in the world of real estate and retail sales. Below are desirable choices for a perfect Plum Market location.

Plum Market Kitchen

  • Universities, airports, museums, or similar captive audience venues.
  • 3,000-5,000 square feet.
  • Highly visible location, preferably from multiple directions (hard corner).
  • Located in high traffic area (vehicular and/or foot traffic).

Plum Market Condensed Collection

  • Urban environment.
  • 30,000 or more daytime population within a half-mile radius. 15,000 or more residents within a half-mile radius.
  • 8,000-12,000 square feet.
  • High percentage of residents are college graduates.
  • Abundant available surface or grade level parking for Plum Market’s exclusive use.
  • Easy access from all adjacent roadways and/or public transit.
  • Highly visible location, preferably from multiple directions (hard corner).
  • Located in high traffic area (vehicular and/or foot traffic).
  • Ability to sell packaged Wine, Beer, and Liquor required.

Plum Market Large Format

  • Suburban or urban environment.
  • 15,000 or more people within a one-mile radius in a suburban environment, 30,000 or more people within a one-mile radius in an urban environment.
  • 20,000-25,000 square feet.
  • High percentage of residents are college graduates.
  • Abundant available surface or grade level parking for Plum Market’s exclusive use.
  • Easy access from all adjacent roadways and/or public transit.
  • Highly visible location, preferably from multiple directions (hard corner).
  • Located in high traffic area (vehicular and/or foot traffic).
