1990 Veuve Clicquot 'La Grande Dame' Champagne 1.5L OWC

Winemaker's Notes...Veuve Clicquot's Prestige Cuvee, La Grande Dame, is a beautiful wine which pays homage to the "grande dame de la Champagne," Madame Clicquot. The incomparable finesse of this cuvée results from a blend of eight of the House's traditional Grands Crus. This wine has a fine, complex fragrance, blending sweetness and nobility. It is smooth and silky in the mouth, with considerable substance and structure. A remarkable balance, with a fresh, harmonious finish, and a unique aromatic aftertaste.

The new luxury gift box with a ribbon which, when untied, reveals its precious contents: a carousel mechanism of the new champagne La Grande Dame 2006. The lid of the box is embroidered with a golden thread and bears the now La Grande Dame label. The lining is in golden satin Chinese paper which presents an ideal backdrop for the bottle. The captivating design makes the box suitable for displaying on a shelf. The box is made of one material and so it can be easily and environmentally recycled.
