Winemaker Notes: The color is intense ruby red with garnet shades On the nose the wine is elegant and complex with notes of spices and vanilla. On the palate it is dry, with a soft but powerful attack, fleshy and full of silkiness. Long lasting on the palate. Longevity: 40-50 years. A super-Tuscan with a great personality. Schidione, owes its name to the medieval skewers locally used to roast game, a perfect “meditation” red wine. Pairs with important meat dishes and game, seasoned cheeses.
