Winemaker Notes: Medium-bodied blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah with blackberry flavors and balanced beautifully with french oak. Perfect for a cooler Michigan evening either with or after dinner.
PAIRINGS
This is not an over powering red wine when pairing with food. We tried it with a traditional cheese cake (no sauces) and it was delicious. You will also find it perfect with red meat (perfect with grilled steak pork), particularly smoked ribs.
CRITICAL ACCLAIM

Wine Enthusiast - " Aromas of bright cherry, strawberry and red plum are link up with cocoa powder, hickory smoked meat and sprinkles of pepper and rosemary. Acidity is tangy doling out ripe plum, cherry and pomegranate on the palate, with vanilla, dried thyme and rosemary tones. Tight fine-grained tannins grip the palate through to the finish of black cherry, cocoa powder and long-lingering tangy plum."
