2016 Chateau Labat Haut-Medoc Grand Vin Bordeaux

Winemaker Notes:  A big wine showing dense black fruit with integrated black fruits, anise, dried leaves and soft leather. Brooding, showing some development with chewy tannins in the long finish.

James Suckling - "The graphite, cedar and smoke aromas give this Haut-Médoc plenty of character. Good depth and some healthy dry tannins that also provide good length. A blend of 50 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 50 percent Merlot. Try in 2021."
