2016 Silverado Vineyards Estate 'SOLO' Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 1.5L
Winemaker Notes: In 1968, Harry See planted the Silverado Vineyard to Cabernet Sauvignon. Over the next two decades with careful vine selection and cultivation, the Silverado Clone emerged becoming the only Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon designated as a “Heritage Clone”, by the University of California, Davis. Each year, we honor this select clone designation with SOLO.
CRITICAL ACCLAIM
Wilfred Wong - "The 2016 Silverado Vineyards SOLO Cabernet Sauvignon is a singular beautiful wine. This wine shines with aromas and flavors of black fruit, oak, and licorice. Try it with a grilled, well-marbled ribeye. "
James Suckling - "Very strong, fresh violet and blue-rose notes on the nose of this fresh, vibrant cab. The palate has a very elegant, chalky texture with brightly cut, fresh blackcurrant flavors pervading the gently grippy, focused finish. Drink or hold."
