Burghound - "Here there is a mentholated top note to the slightly riper blend of red and dark currant, earth and soft floral wisps. The energetic though less concentrated middle weight flavors possess solid depth though the much less structured finish is a bit raspy and while not coarse, it would be fair to observe that it's not refined."


Vinous - "The 2018 Côte de Beaune Rouge comes from 13 different parcels from around the appellation and receives a minute amount of whole cluster. It offers punchy blackberry, raspberry and black olive scents on a nose that races from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, slightly rustic tannins, good depth and fine balance. There is a simplicity to this wine, but that is actually its strength. Hints of white pepper appear on the finish. Recommended."
