2018 Mt. Peak Winery 'Gravity' Red Blend California

Winemaker Notes - The Gravity Red Blend is named for a remote, hard-to-reach block on the Monte Rosso Vineyard. Its location on the edge of a canyon and its steepness produces grapes with exceptional intensity. Five varieties—Petite Sirah, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache—create a vivid expression of the power and depth of the vineyard.

This dark, dense wine is layered with black cherry, plum and blackberry tones and hints of cocoa powder and coffee. The full-body and luscious mouthfeel are framed by assertive tannins and a long, concentrated finish with truffle, caramel and toasty oak.

Full-bodied, the palate is packed with juicy black fruits and loads of pepper and spice accents, framed by ripe, round tannins, finishing long and savory. 250 cases were made."
