2019 Antoine Jobard 'Genevrieres 1er Cru' Meursault
Vinous - "The 2019 Meursault Genevrières 1er Cru had not been racked and was sulfured the week prior to my visit. It has a crisp, well-defined bouquet, although I find the Meursault Charmes has a little more personality and terroir expression at the moment. The palate delivers a pleasant saline bite on the entry, and good depth and more concentration than the Charmes. Spicy yet just missing some complexity on the finish. 90-92pts"
Burghound - ""Naturally exotic aromas are composed mostly by cool floral, petrol, wet stone and sandalwood nuances. The middle weight flavors possess cuts-like-a-knife delineation and ample minerality that also serves to add lift to the impeccably well-balanced and lingering finish."
