2019 Chateau d'Esclans 'Estate' Rose Cotes de Provence
Winemaker Notes: Château d'Esclans Rosé 2019 is an exceptional Rosé produced by Sacha Lichine : Harvesting at sunrise to noon. Grapes are sorted by optical eye electronically and manually three times. Destemming and slight crushing at 7-8°C to avoid oxydation. Free run juice and first slight pressing. No maceration. Both free run juice and pressed juice partially vinified in demi-muids (600L barrels) and stainless steel, both temperature controlled.
52% Grenache, 20% Rolle, 14% Syrah, 7% Cinsault, 7% Tibouren
James Suckling - "Medium-bodied...subtle and very long. A beautiful rose"
Wine Enthusiast - "With the extra year in bottle, this wine has developed well. It has style and poise that lead freshness through the wine's richness. The aftertaste is peppery, with slight bite from the alcohol. Drink now."
