The History of Chateau Tour Leognan is closely related to that of Chateau Carbonnieux. In fact, the Wines produced at Chateau Tour Leognan come from the same terroir as those of Chateau Carbonnieux, and appear as the second Label of the Chateau. In 1956, Marc PERRIN acquired the Chateau and set about restoring it. His son Antony PERRIN now runs the family estate. The Chateau Tour Leognan vineyard covers 85 hectares (213 acres), half planted with white, and half with red. The White grape harvest is always among the first in the bordelais. Controlled low temperature fermentation lasts three to four weeks, and the wine is then aged in the barrel for around ten months.
TASTING NOTES
Of a pale yellow color and a brilliant golden aspect, this Wine with citrus grapefruit aromas and peach fruit, also features a subtle wood note. Rich & powerful while at the same time both delicate and elegant, of perfect acidity, Château Tour Leognan White is indeed a well-balanced Wine.
Château Tour Leognan is a wine of pleasure, an assemblage characterized by Sauvignon which delivers notes of citrus fruits as well as a fleshy and elegant mouth. This lively and fruity combination is rounded by the sweetness and fatness of Semillon.
CRITICAL ACCLAIM

Wine Enthusiast - "A rounded wine, with a balanced blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, the wine is full, spicy with wood aging and richness. It has a pure line in citrus acidity that will soften as the wine matures. Drink from 2024."
