2019 Domaine Beaurenard Blanc Chateauneuf-du-Pape Southern Rhone
2019 vintage is in line with the top vintages of the decade. After a nice winter, spring came slowly, helped by our famous “Mistral” wind, allowing vegetation to grow healthily. The last week of June, Rhône Valley vineyards had to face a heat wave with temperatures above 45°C (113 °F).
Fortunately, our biodynamic sprays of horn dungs, silicas, chamomiles, nettles and essential oils, combined with the good water reserve of the soils from 2018, helped the vines to continue their development in the best way. Thanks to gentle rains in August and September we were able to pick beautiful, healthy and balanced grapes.
CRITICAL ACCLAIM

Wine Spectator - "A bright, high-pitched style, with makrut lime, green apple and green melon flavors laced with a jasmine note. A subtle mineral edge provides balance on the finish. Drink now through 2024. 850 cases made, 170 cases imported."
