Winemaker Notes: "A truly delicious and harmonious wine. Pale gold color, very bright. The aromas bring to mind honey, almond and lemongrass (citronella). As the wine matures, intense flavors of grilled hazelnut and almonds are in evidence" - Véronique Boss-Drouhin

CRITICAL ACCLAIM


Decanter - "Produced from 2.5 ha of domaine vines around the village of Beaune, notably the young vines of the Clos des Mouches, along with some purchased must. The grapes are pressed gently as whole clusters, lightly settled and fermented in cask (20% new). The wine has a lovely, buttery nose, with a ripe apple fruit and rich, nutty aromas that develop with time. Drinkable now, this will definitely continue to improve. Drinking Window: 2021 - 2029"


Burghound - "A more floral, if less citrus-suffused nose of pear and apple complements the almost delicate yet generous flavors that possess very good depth on the sneaky long finish. This is really quite good for the genre and a wine that should drink well shortly after release. (88-91pts)"
