2019 Luli Chardonnay Santa Lucia Highlands

Winemaker Notes: An exhilarating expression of this varietal from the Santa Lucia Highlands, Luli Chardonnay harmonizes fruit from two sustainably farmed vineyards in this narrow, fog-laden appellation. Notes of red apple skin, wet stone, brioche, and citrus peel mingle in the glass as this wine begins to breathe. The cooling breezes of the Monterey Bay allow for slow ripening, which yields fruit of greater complexity, while maintaining vibrant, natural acidity. Neutral oak and lees contact for the duration of aging produce undeniable complexity and depth on the palate, complemented by flavors of lemon curd, pear tart, and stone fruit.
