2019 The Debate Cabernet Sauvignon Trio Vineyard Collection (Denali, Sarcashe, and Artalade) Napa Valley 3pk
Winemaker Notes: Our mission has always been to bring people together to share a glass of wine, to discuss and debate just as our team does. We have found that tables across the country have asked us for tools to throw their own wine experience. Allow THE DEBATE to curate your very own experience in the comfort of your own home. Together, let's “set the table” for the next great debate. The Cabernet Sauvignon Three Vineyard Collection includes:
2019 Denali Vineyard: Deep, dark charcoal color with touches of ruby and boysenberry. On the nose, beautiful chocolate covered cherry with touches of geranium, graphite and pencil shavings with tobacco leaf and licorice. On the palate, a Round, dense entrance evolving on a thick and velvety mid-palate, deeply integrated tannins with ripe cassis and blueberry. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 100% Barrel Fermented. 24 days on skins. 18 months aged, 100% French Oak, 80% New. 300 cases produced.
2019 Newton Vineyard: Newton Vineyard sits atop Spring Mountain at approximately 1,600 feet and has a true history within Jean’s life as it was his first head winemaking position in the US. Come full circle years later, Jean began working with them again in 2018 and his passion for a particular block “White Rock” led to Jean getting access to it for The Debate. High elevation, combined with amazingly diverse soils that are interspersed with natural forest, results in wines that are complex, layered, and engaging.
2019 Artalade Vineyard: Deep, dark, shiny eggplant color with touches of magenta and iris on the rim. On the nose, an explosion of dark cocoa powder, cedar and dry cranberry with dark cherry, vanilla and rose petals. On the palate, a soft entrance evolving on a fresh mid-palate with touches of red cherry and plum. Granular tannins and an iron-rich and volcanic minerality with lingering touches of violet and blackberry. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 100% Barrel Fermented. 24 days on skins. 18 months aged, 100% French Oak, 80% New. 300 cases produced.

The full-bodied palate is jam-packed with bright expressive fruit, delivering energetic freshness and a firm line of ripe, grainy tannins to support, finishing long and perfumed."

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Newton Vineyard tumbles effortlessly out of the glass with notes of plum preserves, baked blackberries and cassis, with an undercurrent of charcuterie, black olives and dried herbs. Full-bodied, firmly structured and concentrated, the abundant black fruit flavors are accented with plenty of savory nuances, and the finish is very long."
