2020 Fanti Rosso di Montalcino Tuscany

Winemaker Notes: The 2020 Fanti Rosso di Montalcino is a bright ruby red. Aromas of cherry and raspberry gives sweet and elegant notes. Decisive attack with sweet notes of small red fruits previously perceived by the nose. The tannins are fine and the acidity which accompanies the drink makes it fresh and pleasing.

It offers a smooth ride with dark fruit, cherry, earth and iris root. It also shows hints of white pepper, cinnamon and cured tobacco. Those savory tones are discreet, but it feels like they are coming from the fruit as much as from oak aging (in botte and barrique for a brief six months)."
