2020 Left Foot Charley Swanson Vineyard Blauflankisch Old Mission Peninsula

Winemaker Notes:  The Swanson vineyard wine has a pulsating rhythm. The sonic waveform on the label shows how the flavor picks up momentum and intensity while being punctuated with even texture throughout.

All three of our single vineyard Blaufränkisch bottlings from 2020 come from the Old Mission Peninsula. Due to the peninsula's microclimates, as well as factors such as the age of the vineyard, growing techniques, and the separate French oak barrels in which the wine was aged, each wine is as unique as the sonic waveform on its label. The wines from these vineyards were destined for a Reserve Blaufränkisch, but we chose instead to bottle each separately in order to celebrate their individuality.
