It's round and supple, with masses of red and blue fruit complemented by sweet herbal tones. Varietal Merlot fruit character pops through the finale, as wild berries and hints of orange zest linger over a web of sweet tannins. The Water Witch is a blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot, refined in 49% new French oak. "

Firm aromas of spiced plum reduction mingle with hints of dried herbs and black raspberry jus. This full-bodied wine has a firm tannic edge and layers of elegance on the palate. It unwinds gracefully with notes of red and black cherry skin, dusty blackberries and touches of bitter dark chocolate. It spent 21 months aging in 49% new French oak barrels, and this beauty will remain food-friendly for years to come. 756 cases made."
