2021 Brancaia 'Ilatraia' 20th Anniversary Maremma Toscana

Winemaker Notes: Brancaia Ilatraia Red Blend is a "Super Tuscan" blend named for a hillside at their Brancaia in Maremma estate vineyard. Ilatraia is a fruit-forward and distinctively rich blend that has intense aromas and flavors of black cherry, plum, blueberry and spice. Those flavors are backed by ultra-fine tannins on the full-bodied palate, while subtle notes of coffee and licorice are found on the lingering finish. From Italy, IGT Rosso Toscana Maremma.

The 2021 harvest was not only an excellent year in Maremma, but also marks the 20th anniversary of Brancaia's “ Ilatraia ” wine.

A wine of great structure, freshness and elegance. It shows a perfect balance between maturity and refinement. Our premium wine from the Maremma area is extremely velvety with pleasant tannins, typical of the wines of the Tuscan coast.
