Winemaker Notes: A mere 8 days of maceration followed by a year in stainless and a brief education in used oak are enough to tame Aglianico’s rabid bite. Still a deep red, with generous black stone fruits and ample spice. The volcanic soils of Vesuvius are resistant to disease, so these vines are un-grafted.
