2021 Domaine de la Pousse d'Or 'Clos D'Audignac' 1er Cru Monopole Volnay

Winemaker Notes:  This exceptional monopole (owned entirely by a single estate) vineyard is right at the doorstep of the historic Pousse d’Or estate. With old vines, planted in 1966, growing in soils that are rich in marl and clay, this is one of the more robust Volnays in the Pousse line up. As such it can be opened and enjoyed at a younger age, but still should be cellared for at least five years, ideally longer. If you do pop one on the younger side, be sure to give it a good decant and then enjoy the hedonistic fruit and texture!
