2021 Lenotti Bardolino Classico Veneto

Winemaker Notes:  Lenotti is family-owned and operated by Giancarlo, Marina, and their son Claudio. The vines were first planted on the farm in 1906, although no wine was bottled until 1968, the same year Bardolino was granted DOC status. This local blend (primarily Corvina and Rondinella) is a light red wine made similar to its more famous neighbor, Valpolicella, to be a versatile everyday food wine. (pro-tip: put a slight chill on it in warm weather!)

We get bright red fruit on the nose and palate, with good acidity, light earthy spice, a dash of herbs, and palate-cleansing easy tannins on the finish.
