2021 Shared Notes Semillon-Sauvignon Blanc ‘Les Lecons des Maitres’ Russian River

Winemaker Notes: Shared Notes is the winemaking joint-venture between wife and husband, Bibiana González Rave (Alma de Cattleya and Cattleya) and Jeff Pisoni (Lucy, Lucia, and Pisoni). This project was launched as an homage to the great Bordeaux Blancs from France- inspired by Bibinana's time working at Château Haut-Brion and La Mission Haut-Brion in 2003. A true homage to this legendary Bordeaux blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon, the 2020 Shared Notes Les leçons des maîtres is a stunning example of the old adage that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
