2021 Taupenot-Merme 'La Riotte 1er Cru' Morey St Denis

Winemaker Notes:  The 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis La Riotte 1er Cru has a vivid and lively bouquet with effervescent red fruit laced with minerals. This positively leaps from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a keen line of acidity, fresh and tensile with a bright, peppery finish with ample salinity to get the saliva flowing. An excellent La Riotte.

There is fine mid-palate volume to the seductively textured, round and vibrant medium-bodied flavors that possess very good richness before culminating in a dusty, austere and sneaky long finish.
