Winemaker Notes: Beautiful medium amber color. Aromas of dried apricot and orange peel. Flavors of dried peach, baking spices followed by soft but firm tannin with a long finish.

Fermenting and aging white wines on the skins of the grapes is a thousand year old tradition in the Caucasus Mountains. The Teliani Valley Amber Blend ages Rkatsiteli, Kakhuri, Mtsvane, Khikhvi and Kisi on their skins for six-months for an inviting wine for people who have not tried an "orange" wine before. Aromas of dried apricot and orange peel greet a fuller-bodied wine with soft tannin and flavors of peach. Persistent and balanced. Best served around 55 degrees, and it pairs beautifully with food.
