2021 Zuccardi 'Q' Red Blend Valle de Uco Mendoza

Winemaker Notes: Zuccardi Q is special for the family, as it was the first wine to bear our name on the label. The simple letter 'Q' – Quality – indicates vineyards and parcels that have been carefully selected. Zuccardi Q is a "Regional Wine". It is an assemblage of grapes from selected vineyards, from the best regions of Mendoza. Each plot is harvested separately and at different times, in order to achieve the best varietal expression in each place. - Sebastián Zuccardi

James Suckling - "Great depth and freshness. Very fresh blueberries, currants and a touch of fine herbs. The palate is juicy and tightly wound with some nicely chewy tannins and a fruity but bone-dry finish. Very firm and pristine. Malbec and sauvignon."

Wine & Spirits - "A blend of malbec (60 percent) with cabernets franc and sauvignon, this wine ferments in cement tanks before aging the wine in oak. Decant it before dinner to enjoy the burstingly juicy red and blue fruit flavors that emerge with air. There’s complexity in the fruit besides its power, with a faint cherry stem flavor in the long finish. "
