2022 Bruno Colin '1er Cru Les Chaumées' Chassagne Montrachet
Winemaker Notes: Bordering Saint-Aubin, just above the 1er Cru ”Les Vergers”. Les Chaumées is derived from ”Chaume”, a Burgundian term referring to former fields that have been turned into wasteland. The wine is very fruity, floral and aromatic with lots of elegance. good salinity on the finish. This wine is both ample yet lively, fresh yet rich.
CRITICAL ACCLAIM

Burghound - "Pretty and layered aromas of petrol and mineral reduction display plenty of citrus elements. There is excellent mid-palate density to the caressing and delicious middleweight flavors that exhibit a subtle bead of minerality that adds a sense of lift to the firm, balanced and youthfully austere finale. This is quite good and while it could use better depth, the requisite underlying material appears to be present. Worth checking out. *Outstanding* (90-93pts)"
