2022 Domaine Vincent Dauvissat 'Sechet' Chablis
CRITICAL ACCLAIM
James Suckling - "A cool site with meager topsoil, Sechet is a cru that serves warmer years well, delivering tension and refinement. Very linear, showing typical Chablis character along with its vibrant acidity. Aniseed and mint with hints of toast and chestnuts. More delineated and voluminous than so-called classic vintages, but still pulls the saliva and tingles the tongue in readiness for the next glass. Excellent showing of this wine. Drinkable now, but best from 2026."
Burghound - "An airier and mildly cooler nose reflects notes of mineral reduction, white flowers and the hallmark citrus influences. The sleeker though not denser middleweight flavors possess a more refined mouthfeel as well as more evident minerality that seems to build on the bitter lemon-tinged, dry and sneaky long finale. Lovely stuff. (90-93pts)"
