2022 Lingua Franca 'The Plow' Estate Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills

Winemaker Notes: A terroir-driven layered wine, with aromatic complexity. The color is medium intense, ruby with an aroma of cedar, rose, morel and porcini mushroom, black currant, vanilla, and graphite. The palate reveals both black and red cherry, cinnamon, vanilla, black tea and plums.

As it opens, it continues to evolve and bring forward more sanguine notes of blood orange that frame the wine beautifully. The palate offers outstanding depth and intensity with a characteristic elegance and weightless feel, plush tannins, refreshing salinity, and mineral underpinnings. I would recommend stashing this one away for a few years and drink 2026-2040. "
