2022 Pali Wine Co. 'Huntington' Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County
Winemaker Notes: Our Huntington Pinot Noir perfectly captures Santa Barbara County's essence, exhibiting a signature blend of flavor and consistency, distinguished by its well-rounded tartness and a harmonious fusion of fruity and earthy notes. The 2022 vintage, entirely harvested from the Pali Vineyard, benefited from ideal viticultural conditions, allow- ing the Pinot Noir grapes to flourish. Our winemaking team expertly nurtured the wine in a combination of both new and neutral French oak barrels, meticulously selecting the finest to compose the final blend.
Pali Wine Co. produces premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sourced primarily from vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills and neighboring wine-growing regions. The region’s terroir, including its transverse ranges, limestone rich soils, and cool ocean fog, is ideal for growing Pali’s poised Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wine grapes. While most of our grapes come from our Sta. Rita Hills estate ‘Pali Vineyard,’ Pali partners with a handful of other family-owned and world-renowned vineyards in the area among the likes of Fiddlestix, Rancho La Viña, and Bien Nacido Vineyards.
CRITICAL ACCLAIM
Wine Enthusiast - "This larger production bottling for the winery always delivers, starting this vintage with pomegranate, raspberry jam, toasted herb and light pepper aromas. The palate is lively in peppery spice and layered in floral geranium and rose flavors, with a texture that grips into the finish. Editor's Choice"
