2022 Domaine du Vissoux (Pierre-Marie Chermette) Beaujolais Primeur

A favorite of much of the staff, Chermette is technically not a true Nouveau! Labeled modestly as “Primeur” it is on tasting that Pierre-Marie selects, from 20th October, the supplest cuvées with the best fruit expression for his “Nouveau” which is then finished in a more traditional approach with only minimalistic intervention.

The result is a vibrant yet supple wine with generous aromas and flavors. This forthright, easy to drink wine opens onto fruit and freshness with the sharp flavors of fresh small red berries. A charming wine that lights up November!
