Winemaker Notes: The 2023 vintage of our Buoncristiani Chardonnay showcases fruit from two prestigious vineyard sources, Hyde and Stagecoach Vineyards. This wine focuses primarily on vibrant fruit, minerality, and balanced acidity, with secondary flavors of integrated new French oak richness. The full mid-palate and lingering finish add to its complexity and elegance.
Following 10 months of sur lie aging we obtained a distinguished harmony between the multiple components during blending trials. We folded the best-fit barrels together and with excitement bottled the twelfth of many Buoncristiani Chardonnays. Salute!
