2023 Martha Stoumen 'Post-Flirtation' White Blend California
Winemaker Notes: This refreshing blend tastes like straight up lemonade served with a hint of citrahops. Lively aromas of ocean air mingle with a touch of lime zest for a libation that’s begging for sunshine and seaside vacations.Reach for Post Flirtation White when you’re celebrating new beginnings or need a friendly reminder to bring a little ease into your day. These grapes are the first to come into the cellar every year and the resulting wine is brimming with joy and light-hearted play. This wine gets along with anything that loves a squirt of lemon on top—grilled fish, aguachile, and Tajin-spiced fruit. Transport yourself to a body of water with simple, seaside flavors.
40% Roussanne, 28% Marsanne, 24% Muscat blanc, 9% Colombard.
After 8 years apprenticing around the world, Martha set out as a self-funded, first generation winemaker to answer the question, “What does California taste like?” In our hot little corner of Northern California, Mediterranean grapes thrive and healthy vineyards allow us to create joyful balanced wines. Our wines are made from unexpected varietals and offer new takes on California classics. We do things the right way even if it's not the easy or cool way. Of the nearly two dozen wines we make every year, blends and flavors change but our desire to share the simple pleasures of natural wine remains the same.
