Winemaker Notes: Orange Blossom, hibiscus, ripe strawberry. With the rolling clay loam hills and the moderating effect of Lake Michigan, Lemon Creek Fruit Farm has grown some of the best grapes in Michigan. The Lemon family farms approximately 170 acres of wine grapes and about 60 acres of a variety of fruits. Located in Berrien County, Lemon Creek is a name with over 165 years of grape and fruit growing experience.

Nestled within the Fennville AVA, our 40-acre estate vineyard stands as a testament to Michigan’s burgeoning wine industry. As the state’s inaugural AVA and the third in the nation, Fennville symbolizes the rich potential of our terroir. At Modales, we meticulously cultivate our vineyards with a focus on terroir expression and regenerative practices.
