2023 Paltrinieri 'La Piria' Lambrusco di Sorbara
Winemaker Notes: 70% Sorbara, 30% Salamino
Beginning in 1926 and in their 4th generation of family run winemakers, Paltrinieri is the benchmark for quality Lambrusco (sparkling red). La Piria is named after the large oak funnel used in the traditional production of the wine. It offers fresh and delightful flavours at extreme value for organic and excellent quality.
CRITICAL ACCLAIM
Wine Enthusiast - "The nose of this stunning frizzante reveals a distinct interplay between fresh bay leaf, thyme, and crushed cherries, delicately sprinkled with rose petals. On the palate, it offers a mouthwatering mix of freshly chopped raspberries, green herbs, and a hint of white pepper, accompanied by subtle gamy notes. Versatile and delightful, it pairs wonderfully with a range of dishes, from pizza to sushi, promising to please all palates."
