Winemaker Notes: The 2024 vintage of ‘Dissonance’ is a departure from the previous releases – it’s the first that is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, stepping away from the use of upwards of 30% Semillon in the blend. The result is an intensely bright & airy perfume of white flowers, peach skin, apricot & key lime. The palate is ripe, racy & clean with more peach, honeyed pear, ruby red grapefruit & sea salt notes that lead to a long & electric finish.
“Dissonance” gets its name from being the outlier to Blackbird’s red blend portfolio.
