Albert Bichot Cremant de Bourgogne Brut Rose Cote d’Or

This Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Rosé is elaborated with grapes issues from parcels selections of Burgundy appellation on the department of Côte-d’Or. The Côte d’Or, a long and narrow escarpment, forms the heart of the region, split into the Côte de Nuits to the north and the Côte de Beaune to the south. The former is home to many of the world’s finest Pinot Noir wines, while Chardonnay plays a much more prominent role in the latter, though outstanding red and white are produced throughout. Albert Bichot wants to demonstrate that Crémants are truly great wines. First of all, by being involved as much as possible upstream in the selection of vineyards and in the pairing of the great Burgundian varietals (primarily Chardonnay and Pinot Noir). Then, by vinifying the future sparkling wine with the care and attention to detail that great wines require. And, finally, by entrusting the sparkling winemaking process (second fermentation, disgorgement and dosage) to a highly reputed partner.

These Crémants, some of which have aged for nearly two years in dark cellars to reach their peak, are only available in limited quantities. To underscore the elegance of wine contained within, the bottles are adorned with streamlined, slightly iridescent labels to emphasize the unique aspect of this daring concept. Fine, even bubbles, beautiful pink in color with salmon highlights. Berries (blackcurrant, raspberry) on the nose with a touch of citrus, followed by a delectable palate bursting with vivacity and freshness.
