Aromas of white flowers like germanium, magnolia, and spring wildflowers are supported by stony minerality (“calce” in Italian translates to lime and is referring to the limestone composition of the soil the grapes are grown in) and notes of peach, pear, and white pepper. Richly textured on the palate with plenty of freshness and balanced acidity. A very versatile wine with food but I usually like to pair this with spring pasta dishes or grilled seafood.
