  1. 2023 Marcel Lapierre Raisins Gaulois Vin de Pays France

Why Travis R. loves this wine: "When speaking of this wine, Marcel Lapierre says 'It’s a wine... that you drink like a beer... when you don’t really want to drink a beer.'" If you have had the pleasure of their exquisite Morgon, these grapes come from the same area, but are made in a manner that produces a fun & friendly fruity-forward style, while still maintaining complexity. Enjoy with a slight chill."

  4. 2022 Domaine Lupin 'Frangy' Roussette de Savoie

Why Mike F. loves this wine: "50 year old Roussette vines from Frangy, a favored site in Savoie. Has the fatness of Chardonnay but with dazzling minerality. Made even more exotic and fetching by gingerbread, green apple and stone fruit notes."

  7. 2020 Chateau Lanessan Haut-Medoc

Why Madeline Triffon, M.S. Loves this Wine: Elegance alert!  Medium bodied, richly flavored with classic forest floor and cedar scents.  Lots of smooth tannins just asking for a simple steak with pommes frites (French fries!).  Hard to believe this quality for the price point… A large, gorgeous property that’s a stone’s throw from the A+ estates of Beychevelle, Gruaud Larose and Branaire-Ducru.  The owners have lobbied more than once to have their appellation changed to St-Julien.

  8. 2021 Jean Chartron Vieilles Vignes Blanc Bourgogne

Why Marc loves this wine: "Behind a color of white gold, we perceive typical fragrances of a young chardonnay, tiny white wallflowers. On the palate the richness of the fruit is present; the body is supported and balanced with oak, with a pleasant finish."

  10. 2021 Chateau de la Font du Loup 'Les Demoiselles' Chateauneuf-du-Pape

Why Michael F. loves this wine: The result of owner Anne-Charlotte's daughter's request for a more graceful Chateauneuf-du-Pape after attending college in Burgundy, this is eminently drinkable with notes of bright cherry, allspice, savory elements, with great nuance, but yet the plush texture we know and love of Rhone blends. Lovely!

  11. 2021 Domaine Jean-Noel Gagnard 'La Boudriotte' 1er Cru Chassagne-Montrachet

  12. 2020 Chateau Angelus 'Carillon d'Angelus' Grand Cru Saint-Emilion

Why Madeline Triffon, M.S. loves this wine: "Quality right out of the gate - what an aroma!  Dried and fresh lavender, blueberry jam, oak spice, black licorice, and dusty earth.  The palate follows beautifully, is nicely edgy and speaks to a future.  Carillon, “bells”, is the second label of an iconic Right Bank star, the Premier Grand Cru Classé “A” Château Angelus.  The estate name comes from the Angelus prayers, in a spot where you can hear bells from 3 churches."
