2018 Bouchard Pere et Fils Beaune du Château Premier Cru Blanc Beaune
Winemaker Notes: Pale gold/ gold color with green shades. The nose is made of white fleshfruit, candied citrus aromas with a hint of brioche and ginger bread. The mouth associates richness, subtle oak, taste of dried fruit. Pleasantly rich wine.
Pairs well with fine cooked meats, meat pies, warm pâté, snails.
100% Chardonnay, sourced from 9.92 hectacres of limestone, clay, and marl soil of 4 Beaune Premier Cru vineyards chosen for their complimentary qualities. Aged for 9 to 10 months in French oak; up to 15% new oak.
James Suckling - "Aromas of ripe cooked apples, honey and candied lemons follow through to a full body with a beautiful, dense palate and just the right amount of bitter lemon and honeysuckle on the finish. Blend of 13 crus from the appellation. Drink now."
