2018 Chateau Jean Faux Sainte Radegonde Blanc Bordeaux

Colorful, the owner Pascal Collotte had a first life at the Saury cooperage which he developed for more than twenty years before reselling his business. Passionate and keen on great wines, he decided to take over Château Jean Faux in 2002. From a ruin, he built a small estate beautifully located on the slopes of Sainte-Radegonde, on the left bank of the Dordogne, 5 km from Castillon-la-Bataille. With a lot of care given to the vine, this passionate about plants (and many other things ...) cultivates his vine with ardor and seeks above all a signature of terroir. Closely followed by Stephane Derenoncourt, the wines, certified biodynamic, are vinified in perfect conditions and benefit from measured aging. Here the priority goes to balance. The wines are therefore very digestible and are easily drunk young as with a little age.
