2015 Vieux Chateau Certan Pomerol Pre-Arrival

Winemaker Notes: This year, everything combined to make the vintage a success: superb weather allied to a mature vineyard enabled an outstanding vintage. The Merlot was ripe, silky and complete. It brought all its strength to the wine. The subtle Cabernet Franc provided balance by its freshness, and length of flavour through its pedigree. It gave the wine delicacy and spirit. Like the 2009 vintage, the Vieux Château Certan 2015, with its controlled power, offers excellent ageing potential. The balance between its silky texture and its freshness makes this a wine that has breed and great distinction, mirroring its outstanding terroir. Blend: 80% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc, 1% Cabernet Sauvignon
