Marramiero Spumante Brut Metodo Classico Abruzzo
Winemaker Notes: Marramiero Brut is a sparkling wine that is fruit of the profound passion of a family for their land. Every moment of the production process is accompanied by a particular level of dedication and a long-standing experience. The process begins with the selection of the grapes for the base wine, Chardonnay and Pinot Nero, and continues with the choice of the lees for the secondary fermentation process in the bottle. The temperature control extends the fermentation period and results in a fine, persistent perlage. The long ageing period in the bottle, where the spumante remains in contact with the lees, gives it the characteristic bouquet full of complex and persistent scents that make it suitable for every dish and ideal for all occasions. To be served at 6°-8°C.
The quality of a wine depends mostly on the environment where the grapes are grown. For this reason, Marramiero nourishes its plants only with natural products, plant cultivation is done under the vines using green manure, a process of replenishing the soil with uprooted plants. The attention to detail continues in the cellar, where the respect for tradition is accompanied by the most modern oenological features - from the vinification of skins in wooden vats to those in stainless steel, by electronically-controlled fermentation, to a systematic process for optimally stacking barrels.
