Fleur de Miraval Rosé Champagne Exclusivement Rosé Third Edition (ER3)
ER3 is the very essence of balance and delicacy - the intensity of Côte des Blancs grand crus and the complexity of its perpetual reserve are combined with immense finesse. Comprising 75% Chardonnay of different ages, this third edition is a fine example of balance between freshness and complexity, with an incredible finesse that is delicately lifted by 25% young Pinot Noir from tiny parcels in the terroir of Vertus. This Champagne Fleur de Miraval signature blend is what makes it so different; the delicate mineral, saline, and iodized expression of Chardonnay is energized by the vibrancy of Pinot Noir, creating a unique aromatic expression. Thanks to the Perrin family’s skills in Provence Rosé, it reveals an incomparable hue of sublime brilliance that is the result of an elegant extraction of color by infusion. The density, balance, and persistence of ER3 are expressions of the magic of an outstanding Rosé champagne from noble terroirs, born from unique wine-making choices. The wine is aged on lees in the dark in our cellars for three years. ER3 reveals an extremely delicate, blush pink hue. The nose is superb, with a beautifully complex and delicate aromatic palette that offers up aromas of white flowers, redcurrant, and wild strawberry, before unveiling slightly smoky notes. With a particularly fine and ethereal effervescence, the mouth is fresh and vibrant with superb white fruit and citrus evolving into more complex notes of candied fruit, soft spices, and toasted almonds. The finish is incredibly persistent, underpinned by a magnificent chalky minerality of citrus and fresh hazelnut, leading to a soaring finish of great persistence, underlined by a magnificently chalky minerality
The wine is aged on lees in the dark in the Champagne house’s cellars for three years.

CRITICAL ACCLAIM
Wine Spectator - "This graceful rosé Champagne layers a rich base of roasted almond, toast and smoke accents with nectarine and pureed raspberry fruit, oyster shell, blood orange zest and chalk notes. Fresh and fluid on the palate, with a creamy mousse consisting of fine, pinprick-sized bubbles. Long, rich finish. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Drink now through 2030. 750 cases made."
Decanter - "Pale salmon pink in the glass, with very
pretty floral aromas and delicate hints of
autolysis. This progresses to delicate fruits
and a zesty, crisp, crunchy, pomelo, lime,
and grapefruit pithy freshness, with clean,
linear length. Initially, this fresh, youthful
character dominates but, as with earlier
editions, the wine benefits from time in the
glass (or decanting) when it opens out to
reveal more creamy, mature fruit flavors of
red berries, red apples, and complex notes
of spice, herbs, aniseed and a touch of
orange. More vibrant and freshly youthful
than ER1 and ER2, with layers of complexity
under the surface."
