Hakutsuru Ukiyo-e Junmai Daiginjo Sake 720ml
+3 SMV
Tasting Notes: Made with rice polished at least 50% and sometimes much more, daiginjo sake has brewers alcohol added for artisanal purposes. An ultra-premium grade sake. Bright, pronounced aroma of strawberry, raspberry, and fresh bouquet. A sensation on the palate layered with flavors of melon, banana, mandarin orange with a soft and round mouthfeel and a lingering finish.
Hakutsuru is located in the famed Nada district of Kobe, a leading sake production area. The name Hakutsuru means “white crane”. The crane’s reserved character and graceful appearance along with the cultural association of seeing a crane in flight as an auspicious sign, makes the crane an ideal symbol to represent the excellent quality of Hakutsuru’s sake.
