2018 Ceretto 'Brunate' Barolo

Winemaker Notes:  One of the greatest single-vineyards of Barolo, this wine is fruit-forward with expressive floral notes on the nose and palate. A full-bodied wine with very fine but lightly firm tannins and a clean finish. Very elegant characteristics in 2018 vintage.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - "The organic 2018 Barolo Brunate is angular and firm. Despite the softer character of the vintage, you still feel the tannins and the structure of this celebrated MGA site. There is balsam herb, dried lavender, rose and candied cherry. The wine is generous and round."


James Suckling - "Sweet red fruit on the nose and palate, together with a sandy mineral note. Medium-to full-bodied with very fine, lightly firm tannins and a clean, focused finish. More delicate character in 2018. Best from 2024."
