CRITICAL ACCLAIM
Vinous - "The 2018 Peyrabon has a very agreeable bouquet of blackberry, raspberry and briary aromas, the oak nicely integrated and feeling natural. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and crunchy red fruit tinged with cedar and pine. It is a bit "chunky" on the finish, but I admire the freshness and substance, and the oak is judiciously used. Good winemaking, good wine. Barrel Sample: 90-92"
Decanter - "Sweet black cherry and blackberry fruits, with good balance and freshness on the finish. Mouthwatering, with touches of grilled rosemary, pepper and woodsmoke. A consistent success rate at this property that is owned by Millésima négociants. Vineyards of gravel and sand soils over a clay subsoil. aged in 25% new oak. Drinking Window 2022 - 2038"
James Suckling - "Blackcurrant, tea-leaf, mocha and some praline aromas. It’s medium-to full-bodied with firm, tight-grained tannins. Flavorful and structured. Drink from 2022."
